Book sent to printer

I am excited to let you know that the new book Over the Edge: Personal Stories of Adventure and Faith has finally been sent to the printer. I am announcing it here on the blog first. If there are no glitches, we should have copies in house by the middle of December. As you can imagine, I am very excited about this. It has been a very long journey to get this book printed. The big challenge for me was finding time to finish the edits and do the layout of the cover and text.

For those that may not be in the loop, this book is a collection of stories from my travels on five continents. But it is more than just a book of stories. Each chapter teaches a Biblical truth to live by. I call it a devotional on steroids with a shot of testosterone thrown into the mix. I believe it will be a good tool for the ministry in my mission to see folks live their lives as real-deal followers of Jesus Christ.

We are working on the website to add the ability to order and also donate online. It should come online sometime in December. In the mean time, you can advance order the book by writing to us at:

The book will also be available as an e-book via download through the website at http://www.timothymark.com. And just like the CDs, the download will be free and the hard copy will be available for a donation.

Alright, have a great day!

Radio Interview for Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

I had the great privilege of being on the morning show on AM 930 The Light (http://www.am930thelight.com) in Edmonton, Alberta this morning. And I don't know when I have enjoyed myself more. Brother Bob was the DJ that handled the interview, calling me in my office for the 7:00 AM Daybreak Live show. Bob is a former pastor and we have the same heart for the church. It was as if we had known each other for years. I've done a few radio interviews in the past on other stations, but none I have enjoyed as much as this one. Between the news and weather, we were on air for an hour an a half of sweet fellowship and prayer.

I will be in Edmonton in February for the Missions Fest (http://www.mfest.ab.ca/) and am greatly looking forward to it. The folks at Missions Fest set up the interview and I am grateful for their help. I've already received emails from folks in Edmonton that I met at a Solocon event in Nashville last year saying they are looking forward to the Missions Fest event.

I don't know when I have seen the Holy Spirit so actively at work. And that gets me fired up!

Have a great day!

Home Time!

I am finally off the road for a couple of weeks. I am really grateful to
be home for a while. It will be nice to sleep in my own bed for a change.

I had a great time with friends in Marllette, MI at the Grace Bible
Church. These folks have been long term supporters of the ministry and I
was grateful to be able to minister there again. I drove on home to
Tennessee Sunday afternoon and arrived home around 11:00 Central Time.

Since I arrived home, I've gotten sick from some sort of sinus flu. I
had been fighting it for the past 10 days and when I finally slowed down
to rest it came on full force. So that has slowed me down a bit. But I
am grateful to be home and working in the office again. Lots to do.

Have a great day!

Update on Wayne Watson Concert

We had a great time at the Wayne Watson Concert last night. It was a
benefit concert for Beginnings Care for Life, a pregnancy center in
Coldwater, MI. There was a good turn out and the folks gave generously
for the center. I mainly led worship and emceed the event. It was a
privilege to be there. Wayne was excellent, very down to earth and easy
to relate to. I appreciated that.

A funny thing happened after I finished my section of the event. I
wanted to make sure the piano was cleared off and ready for Wayne. So as
I finished my remarks and began to introduce him, I gathered up the
sheet music I had been using for the worship time from the top of the
piano. There were some other papers there that seemed to have been left
from the folks that did the offertory. So I gathered it all up,
introduced Wayne, and then walked off the platform. While Wayne was
singing his opening song, I wandered to the back room where my luggage
was stored and filed away the sheet music I had gathered off the piano.
In that stack of papers I found the other pages that I had picked up and
opened them up to see what they were. That was when I discovered I had
taken Wayne's set list from the piano, basically his game plan for the
concert. It was two pages with a list of songs in the order he was going
to perform them. I knew I had to get it back on the platform somehow,
but how? Thankfully, he was very laid back in his presentation between
the songs. At one point after his second song, he paused to take a
drink. I walked up on the platform with the papers in hand and said to
him off mic "You are going to need this." He looked at the papers and
then said into the mic "We have song request!". It was total class. He
realized I had accidentally taken the set list but didn't embarrass me
from the platform. He played it off like someone has sent a request
through me to the stage. I thought that was pretty cool the way he
handled it. He then set the list down and continued with the concert. It
was a great evening.

I am driving today to Marlette, Michigan for the event there tomorrow. I
will be ministering at Grace Bible Church in the morning and then
driving home to Tennessee in the afternoon and evening. If you think of
it, pray for alert driving and safety on the roads.

Have a great day!

Coast to Coast

I'm going coast to coast this month. Having finished the ministry in
Louisiana and Texas, I'm heading to Michigan today for the benefit
concert tomorrow night with Wayne Watson. I am praying that we will be
able to raise a lot of money for the Beginnings Care for Life center in
Coldwater, MI. Then Sunday I am looking forward to being with friends at
the Grace Bible Church in Marlette, MI.

It has been an incredible season of ministry. The schedule has been
packed and I am grateful for all I see God doing. At the same time, I am
looking forward to a few weeks off after this weekend. There is a lot
happening behind the scenes and I will have a full plate in the office.
But it will be nice to be able to sleep in my own bed for a while.

Be watching the blog in the coming weeks for some exciting announcements
regarding developments in the ministry. It is a very exciting time.

Have a great day!

Prayer Request for a Friend

I received a call early this morning that a friend of mine is on his
deathbed after a long bout with cancer. His name is Ollie. I would
appreciate it if you would pray for him. I have had the privilege of
presenting the gospel to him when he has come to the ministry events,
but I do not know where he stands with God. So please pray that in these
final days he would be reconciled with Christ.

I will be on the road most of the day today. I am leaving Houston and
heading to Little Rock. I will drive from Little Rock to Tennessee
tomorrow. I leave again Thursday for Michigan and a couple of events
there. After that trip I will have some time off and am looking forward
to that.

Have a great day!
